Questions and Answers about the U19 World Lacrosse Foundation and obtaining financial assistance

Q: Who is the foundation for?

Q: Who is the foundation for?

A: Any field lacrosse player, male or female, 19 years of age or younger that is a member in good standing of the BC Lacrosse Association or Any BCLA associated group who is developing field lacrosse. An application can be made to receive funds for clinics, camps, etc.

Q: What grants or scholarships are available?

Q: What grants or scholarships are available?

A: Applications can be made from individuals playing on a Canadian National Team, an International National Team playing in a World Lacrosse sanctioned World Championships,  a Team BC Provincial Team player Also, by teams travelling to Provincials and groups or associations working for the development of Field Lacrosse. Individual players are encouraged to fill out their own application with a background letter describing their goals in Lacrosse.

Q: Who can apply?

A: Any youth player that is a member in good standing of the BCLA or Any BCLA associated group who is developing field lacrosse. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the Board.
